Alison Thompson started The Patchwork Meadow project during the first lockdown in 2020. David Gregory-Kumar from BBC Midlands Today visited Alison and Steve at Edgbaston Reservoir in October 2020 to find out about the project in the early stages (200 seed packets given out).
